As 2021 came to a close, Amanda Gorman, the 23-year-old poet, whose reading of her own “The Hill We Climb,” at President Biden’s Inauguration made her a household name, posted a new five stanza, 48-line work entiteld “New Days Lyric,” in collaboration with @instagram.
This large-scale music video-style production was shot at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles and was produced in collaboration with the @instagram Editorial team, including myself as production lead, and Genius Productions.
