The New & Experimental Works (NEW) Program is a program of the Kenneth Rainin Foundation that continues to provide project support to small and mid-size dance, theater and multidisciplinary arts organizations. The program enables Bay Area artists and organizations to produce timely, visionary performance-based projects.
I co-led strategic planning efforts that effectively launched the New & Experimental Works (NEW) Program, reaffirming the the program’s focus on small and mid-size organizations, projects that were pushing boundaries in dance, theater, and performance, collaborative and socially-engaged works, and those that prioritized a commitment to artist compensation.
